Carriers and Jobs

This lesson shows you who you recruit for and the jobs you are filling. By the end you can read the carrier and job lists and match a driver to the right opening.

Carriers

The Carriers list is every motor carrier account you recruit for — company name, DOT and MC numbers, phone, email, and contact. This is who a job belongs to.

Jobs

The Jobs list is the open job descriptions, grouped by carrier. Each job shows the carrier, the title, and whether it is active. This is what you are filling.

Matching a driver

When you work a driver, you assign them to a job and a carrier so they move down the right pipeline. A driver matched to the wrong carrier wastes everyone's time and can cross a private carrier relationship.

What protects you

Before you move a driver toward a carrier, confirm the job is active and the carrier is the right one. Keep carrier names private with the driver until the carrier accepts.
